Carbon steel made Deep Bucket Conveyors are used to transport minerals and aggregates in inclined or horizontal direction. With having up to 15 kw power capacity, these mechanical systems are affixed with durable chains that move in parallel direction. These chains are interconnected and are attached to outboard rollers of steel tracks.
These are recommended for heavy duty applications generally involving hot materials. Deep Bucket Conveyors are fitted with specially designed chains working in two parallel strands, suitably interconnected and fitted with outboard rollers running on steel tracks.
Some other types
Flight (Scraper) Conveyors
Drag Chain Conveyors
Wire Mesh Conveyors
Bulk-flow Conveyors (Redler Type)
Single and Double chain conveyors
Special purpose chain conveyors are also manufactured to suit individual requirements. Chains used on above conveyors vary in types. For instance, while a slat conveyor uses pin and bush type with rollers, an overhead chain conveyor incorporates a special fabricated / forged chain and attachments are used on bulk-flow conveyors (Redler Type), while resistance welded link chain is used on conveyors for coal mines.
